The United States is becoming more diverse than ever. The U.S. Census Bureau projects that people of color will make up the majority of Americans by around 2045. Now Crayola has created a new collection of crayons that strives to represent many of the most subtle shades of people’s real skin tones. From deepest almond to very light golden, Crayola says its new box of crayons, called Colors of the World, attempts to be as diverse as humankind itself.
