Jim McMahon, aka Mapman®, is Junior Scholastic's cartographer. This past summer, he visited an island nation in the eastern Caribbean Sea.

A popular tourist destination, the country is a former colony of the United Kingdom. It is home to beautiful beaches, lively carnivals, and the pop star Rihanna. It’s also the only overseas place George Washington visited.
