Dogs are known as humans’ best friends. Cats—not so much. They’re often described as temperamental and aloof, especially when compared with lovable and loyal canines. But it turns out that cats might not deserve their snooty reputation. A new study by researchers at Oregon State University found that cats bond with people just like dogs do. It appears that cats actually do get attached to the humans in their lives—even if their seemingly detached behavior might suggest otherwise.
