Internet Speeds Around the World
Think your internet connection is fast? Try downloading music in South Korea. The Asian nation boasts the world’s fastest internet speed: 28.6 megabits per second (mbps), according to a new report.
The U.S. is ranked ninth on the list, with an average connection speed of 18.7 mbps. That’s quick enough to download a high-definition digital movie in 30 minutes.
