Tomato Toss
Every August since 1945, the town of Buñol, Spain, has hosted the world’s biggest—and messiest—food fight. This year’s La Tomatina Festival didn’t disappoint, as some 22,000 people pelted each other with 165 tons of overripe tomatoes in the name of fun. However, the festival has been criticized for wasting food as people in some parts of the world suffer from hunger. Should La Tomatina continue?
